A long, long time ago, when there was no electricity, no steam or mechanical engine, people were already able to design and erect huge buildings. There were workshops, foundries, smithies and mines. By the application of unique technical devices, huge weights were lifted to considerable heights and transported over large distances.
All types of medieval technical devices: powerful mill wheels, a vertical treadmill, a foundry and a crushing mill can be seen in the Medieval Mining Settlement in Złoty Stok. Each device is in working order and fully interactive - if you want to see how it works, all you need to do to is use the power of your own muscles.
In addition, your visit will include the mysterious and unforgettable LABYRINTH OF FEAR.
The last stop on your journey through the medieval world is the Executioner's Cottage where you will see how criminals were punished in the Middle Ages and what his profession entailed. The Executioner will tell you all about his hard work.
Another attraction is a ride in our tank constructed according to the design of Leonardo da Vinci. It is the only exhibit in Poland that is fully mobile.
An additional free attraction is our medieval playground with the games and toys that were popular in history.
There is a free car park, a souvenir shop and an inn on site.
